What You Need to Know About the CBS (Call Before Showing) Codes

Every electronic Lockbox is programmed with its own unique seven-digit Call Before Showing (CBS) code. The CBS code is required for those carrying affiliate DisplaKEYs (home inspectors) to access the Lockbox. In order to open the Lockbox an affiliate keyholder must obtain the CBS code from the listing broker or agent.

Once the keyholder receives the CBS code they must do the following:

Press the Enter button on their keypad
Scroll down to menu option that reads "Enter update on CBS code"
Press Enter, then 2 for CBS code
Enter CBS code, then press Enter

They can then access that particular box by pressing their Enter button, pressing Enter when "Obtain Key" is displayed, then entering their personal four-digit PIN code, pressing the Enter button, and pointing their key at the box.
